Ookla examined its Speedtest data for broadband services in terms of the percentage of Speedtest users in a state who experienced at least 100 Mbps downlink/20 Mbps uplink speeds鈥攖he Federal Communications Commission鈥檚 new minimum standard for broadband.

New data from RetailMeNot indicates consumers will spend early and often this holiday season. According to results of two consumer surveys from RetailMeNot, respondents plan to spend an average of $1,069 on holiday purchases in 2024, up an impressive 14% from 2023. This figure includes $717 to be spent on others and $353 on themselves. The survey also found that 76% of respondents plan to get started on their holiday shopping before Thanksgiving, with 40% having already started.
